Framework Agreement Description

The Surgical Robots, Consumables and Related Services framework agreement covers robotic surgery, related services, and consumables. Also included in this framework agreement is a route to market for a managed service with flexible financial options also available. Robotic surgical systems consist of robotic arms with a jointed wrist that utilises laparoscopic instruments; a surgeon sits a few feet away from the operating table at a computer console viewing a High Definition, 3D visual of the operating area. Robot-assisted surgery allows surgeons sub millimetre precision, flexibility and control during many forms of complex procedures, reducing fatigue of the surgeon whilst offering improved patient outcomes and quicker recovery times.
