Framework Agreement Description

The technology enabled care framework supports patient care via technology. This technology framework is divided into four lots; electronic assistive technologies, alarm technologies and services, continuous monitoring services and schedule remote and on demand services. The framework agreement provides a compliant route to access various health and social care technologies including, telecare alarm technologies, continuous monitoring and associated diagnostic services, as well as scheduled, and on demand remote interactions, such as teleconsultations.

About this Framework Agreement
• Lot 1 - Electronic Assistive Technologies
An Electronic Assistive Technology (EAT) service under this lot would provide environmental control systems and alternative means of computer access for persons with complex disabilities or frailties in the community.
• Lot 2 - Alarm Technologies and Services
These products are positioned for people who require external support (e.g. housing services, social care, and/or health services) to keep living independently or those who support and care for them.
• Lot 3 - Continuous Monitoring Services
The exchange of data between a patient at home and their clinician(s) to assist in diagnosis and monitoring. This is often used to support patients with long term conditions.
• Lot 4 -Schedule Remote and On Demand Services
Scheduled and on demand remote interactions help people to manage and control chronic illness and sustain independence. They enable the remote exchange of information, primarily between a patient or citizen and a health or care professional (telehealth / teleconsultation), to assist in diagnosing or monitoring health status and/or promoting good health.
