NHS SBS partners with IntelliCentrics

We're delighted to announce that we have recently partnered with IntelliCentrics to offer hospitals access to a web-based commercial visitor management service - SEC³URE.

SEC³URE helps hospitals and their supply chains to work together to ensure clinicians benefit from product innovation and new techniques - so patients get the best possible care.

For hospitals, this means letting approved commercial partners access the right people, in the right areas, at the right times. This not only protects patient safety and saves clinicians' time, but also helps enforce hospital procurement policies.

With SEC³URE, commercial partners understand and comply with hospital policies. Hospitals know exactly who's on site, when and where. This is available at no charge to hospitals.

Flexible to each site's requirements, the IntelliCentrics service includes credential checking (training, immunisations, DBS background checks), a Meeting Manager facility, dedicated customer service and a range of visitor activity and compliance reports.

IntelliCentrics' user-centred technology approach means the service is continually developed to make safe access easier for both hospitals and commercial visitors. Recent innovations include GS1-compliant Scan4Safety barcoding, corporate account administration and the SEC³URE mobile app - recently recognised as 'Highly Commended" at the GO Public Procurement Awards. The unique mobile app simplifies and speeds up visitor check-ins, while its integrated GPS can auto check-out when they leave.

IntelliCentrics already works with many NHS Trusts and Boards, including Guy's and St Thomas', Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and University Hospitals Leicester. Customers cite a range of benefits including:
